Professional Photographers of America
International Photographic Competition

What’s IPC?

The International Photographic Competition (IPC) is where photographers from all over the world engage in fierce competition for professional bragging rights. In fact, the IPC is so intense that it actually involves 2 rounds of judging.

A panel of jurors from across the United States selects the top images from thousands of submitted entries each year. Judged against a standard of excellence comprising 12 elements, the highest scoring images are then selected to be part of PPA's General Collection and its esteemed Loan Collection—the best of the best.

PPA's Loan Collection images are published each year in the much-anticipated "Loan Collection" book and over 200 selected General Collection images are published in its sister edition, the "Showcase" book, produced by Marathon Press.

All accepted images will also be on display at the IPC Exhibit at Imaging USA, held each year in January. And the winners at the IPC are then eligible for the Grand Imaging Awards, which are also presented each year at Imaging USA. So what are you waiting for? Enter the IPC and show what you've got!
